23rd of October, Thursday
Today is a national holiday in Hungary. We honor the people, who took part in the Hungarian revolution of 1956. It was a spontanious revolt against the soviets, and it was more than two weeks when the revolution was ended with a soviet victory. It's a schoolfree day. We remember it at school with a smaller show or presentation, that one class from 10th grade performs.
Today was also our last volleyball practice. It was just one hour, we played some volleyball in four teams, but we got bored in half an hour. Our last team huddle was led by me, with a "Hajrá!", the Hungarian word for "Let's go!". Then we turned our uniforms in. 10 was a good number. Feels strange, that next year, someone else will have it.
I forgot to write an entry. This was the first time I did that too. So I actually wrote this on the schoolbus, on the way to school the next day.
