Amerks hockey game with Rotary

23rd of January, Friday

At 6, Al and Judy picked me up, to take me to the very first hockey game of my life. I'm not a sportsy person, but live games are always so exciting. I've only been to two baseball games. I like ice hockey, so I was looking forward to the evening.
It was held at the Blue Cross Arena, in downtown Rochester. It's a pretty big arena, and it hosts other events too. Our group was in a VIP suite (you can imagine how fancy I felt). I've never been in to a hockey game, or a VIP booth. I met a lot of hockey enthusiast Rotarians and their wives (haha, just kidding). There was food and drinks. I enjoyed watching the game a lot. The Americans ended up winning, and because all the fans in the arena were Amerks fans, the whole crowdburst into ovation when the game finished.
I had a lot of fun! This was truly an awesome experience. I like hockey a lot more, than American football. Probably because I understand the rules more.
Al an Judy brought me back. Thank You so much for my Rotary Club! It was a cool event!
