19th of September, Friday
Today was a skinny day, I had every subject except for PE. I felt like I did well. I'm starting to enjoy classes more, because I know some people now, and I understand way more about everything. (I remember the first time we had to stand up for the Pledge of Allegiance, I had no clue what was going on. Now I know it by heart.)After school we had an away game at Brockport with the volleyball team. Remember we already beat them once in Athena? We were sure they'd come back with an avenging spirit, this time, on their court. We recieved the warm-up jerseys we ordered back in August. They're white, really comfortable and, thankfully, warm. (picture below with Sam Dube) Plus they were free, so everyone was happy.
We won the first 3 matches, thus winning the game. We were so quick, we finished before 9 pm. I don't remember that this ever happened before (games usually last till 9:15 or more, especially away games).
We celebrated our victory at Friendly's. It's a cute and colourful diner. We had a good time, and Herb took me home at 10:45. My backpack was left in Michele's car, she gave me a ride to the restaurant. So I'll have to live without my phone for one night (not the one I can talk with, that's with me, so I'm callable.)
I fell asleep with the happy thought, that I can finally sleep in the next morning.
