First game

2nd of September, Tuesday

I was supposed to write my essays for AP English, but I didn't have enough motivation for that. I did finish my volleyball poster though (first picture). In the morning, Sun played the piano, drew an Olaf-Elsa crossover and took a walk. She's a productive person.
In the afternoon, at 3, Herb dropped me off at Athena for my first volleyball game! I didn't play, not yet. But I was rooting hard for my team! We played Brockport Blue Devils.
We first set up the court, cheered for the JV girls (they did win). Then we warmed up, and our "show" began. We entered the court screaming, did a simple choreography of jumping by the net and running around (but I could still mess it up). Then we warmed up in front of the judges and fans as well. The whole idea of the game is, that you have to win 3 out of the 5 matches. The winner of 3 wins the game.
In the first match, we won 25-3. I guess the Brockport's motivational speech worked, because they won the next two matches (with barely more points). But our cheering did pay off at the end, because we won the last two matches and thus won the game. It was such a wonderful feeling, being part of a group like that. I admire the team, they fought hard today. We played from 6:30 to 9. It was very intense, but we finally had a happy ending.
